THE HOUSES THAT OCTOBER BUILT 2 Heads Home In January

If you think that the found footage genre is dead, you're terribly mistaken. RLJE Films are bringing VOD hit The Houses That October Built 2 to blu-ray and DVD on January 2nd, 2018.

In our current society, horror fans have it made. Not only is the genre dominating movie and televisions screens but a resurgence of social events such as escape rooms and haunts have made horror come to life. The Houses That October Built franchise plays on that idea and introduced audiences to a roaming haunted house group called the Blue Skeleton, who are determined to take the scares to an extreme level.

In this much asked for sequel, "five friends decide they must face their fears in order to move on. Heading back out on the road to visit more haunted house attractions, signs of the Blue Skeleton start appearing again and a new terror begins," as per the press release from RLJE.

The sequel sees the original filmmaking and screenwriting team of Bobby Roe, Zack Andrews and Steven Schneider return along with cast members Brandy Schaefer, Mikey Roe, and Jeff Larson and picks up not long after the original's cliffhanger ending.

The blu and dvd will be hitting January 2nd, for $29.97 and $27.97 respectfully. Make sure to track down the original, especially for found footage completists, and get excited to bring this one home.
