The HAPPY DEATH DAY Director Has a New Movie in the Works

Christopher Landon, the man behind movies like Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse and this year´s mega hit Happy Death Day is moving on to his next project. The Tracking Board reports that Landon is attached to direct the upcoming sci-fi thriller Capsule.

Capsule follows a lonely astronaut who is marooned on his ship billions of miles from Earth. On the verge of starvation, he reprograms the computer AI system to digitally look and sound like a beautiful call girl. With death around the corner, she becomes his only companion — until a rescue team shows up with questionable intentions.

The film is written by Joe Greenberg who appeared on the Black List, the Hit List, the Young and Hungry List and the Blood List in 2016 and whose previous spec, Backvoid, won Best Screenplay at Screamfest LA in 2015. It sure looks like Greenberg is a writer to keep an eye on in the future.

Lawrence Grey (Lights Out) is producing with Oscar-nominated screenwriter Eric Heisserer (Arrival) under their new Ideogram production banner.

As of now there isn't much info on this project, but keep a lookout on this page as we will report on updates.
