Shudder Brings "Revenge" to the small screen!

It's very rare that you type "festival darling" and "Rape Revenge" in the same sentence, but this is one of those cases!

Deadline is reporting that Festival darling Revenge, the rape/revenge horror film from writer/director Coralie Fargeat, will be distributed via NEON ahead it's streaming release on the AMC Networks' owned Shudder. This is the second deal for NEON which also includes the eagerly anticipated Assassination Nation which is walking away with a $10M-plus deal, the biggest of the festival so far.

"Revenge, Fargeat’s debut film, stars Matilda Lutz as a young woman who goes on vacation at a remote desert villa with her millionaire boyfriend (Kevin Janssens). Their romantic weekend goes off the rails when her lover’s hunting pals show up on the scene, triggering a wave of violence. It debuted in Park City on Friday.
