Benson/Moorhead's THE ENDLESS Wows With New Poster

If I was given the chance to watch ANY film in the world right now, I would pick Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead´s The Endless, which is one of my most anticipated films this year. “Why that one??” you ask. “Go watch Resolution and Spring.” is my answer to that. If you still haven´t seen those two you´ve missed out on some of the best contemporary genre films available. Resolution and Spring are also two perfect examples of why I often choose indie cinema over big budget studio flicks. Benson and Moorhead´s films are extremely well written and thought provoking pieces of art with a lot of emotions. Hell, I could have Spring playing on a loop on a huge screen in my house as an art installation solely based on it´s beautiful visuals.

To be totally honest, I don´t know that much about The Endless since I´ve actively avoided to read reviews and articles about it. I´ve seen the (super intriguing) trailer and I´ve read Imdb´s plot for the film which says: Two brothers return to the cult they fled from years ago to discover that the group's beliefs may be more sane than they once thought.

That is all I know and that is all I want to know! The names Benson and Moorhead is quality assurance enough for me to give them my money. And not only are the duo great filmmakers, but judging by the trailer, Justin and Aaron are pretty damn good actors as well. As ya'll can see, I'm SUPER stoked to see this film. And that got taken to a whole new level when the poster for the film came out. Holy! Fucking! Shit! It is gorgeous and just insanely mesmerizing! Looking at it almost makes me develop Stendhal syndrome, but I just can't take my eyes away from it. I need this hanging on my wall.

I´m keeping my fingers crossed that The Endless makes it way over to us in Scandinavia in a near future.

But if you're in the U.S. you'll get your chance to see it soon as it is getting a theatrical release on March 23. So until then, get ready to have your minds blown and go watch Resolution and Spring. And don't forget to check out the awesome trailer below.
