INFINITE DARK Wants To Splice Horror And Sci-Fi Together Again

Horror and science fiction are often considered in the same breath. While both are distinctly their own genres, sometimes when the two collide it creates some of the both of either genre. Remember a little movie called Alien? One of many but a stalwart example. Image and Top Cow have just announced Infinite Dark, and it has all the trappings of the best of the genre. Bleak future humanity? Check. A wandering spaceship with a classic mythic name (The Orpheus)? Check. Bloody, messy murder? Check. Yeah. This is going to be fun. Check out the full press release for the exciting and sinister new title from Ryan Cady (Warframe) and Andrea Mutti (Star WarsEvil Empire) below!

P.S. Two creative leads that have tenured experience with science fiction?! COME ON. This is going to be awesome!

SCIENCE FICTION AND HORROR COLLIDE IN NEW SERIES INFINITE DARK

PORTLAND, OR, 06/12/2018 — Image/Top Cow is pleased to announce an all-new, sinister ongoing science-fiction series—INFINITE DARK—by Ryan Cady and Andrea Mutti with colorist K. Michael Russell that will hit stores this October.

In INFINITE DARK, the universe has ended, but humanity has survived. For years, the passengers and crew of the vessel Orpheus found the endless void between realities to be a surprisingly peaceful home.

Then they found a body—bloodied, brutalized, and surrounded by inscrutable runes. As Security Director Deva Karrell investigates the Orpheus' first murder, she'll come face to face with a horror from beyond the confines of time itself…

INFINITE DARK #1 will launch from Top Cow/Image Comics this October 2018.
